Inspirational Females

Today's blog is about an inspiring friend of mine, Bella Keynes. She has had adventures all around the world, her hobbies include surfing, snowboarding and learning Spanish. At university Bella studied film making and she has made some very interesting documentaries. Here is the link to a three minute documentary that she filmed in Papua New Guinea, it discusses the importance of the yam (a vegetable) to the indigenous people from the Trobriand Islands.

Currently Belle and a friend of hers are in New Zealand where they will be walking for over 3000 kilometres, it will take them a few months to finish! They have a website where you can see photos and read their blog.

A visit to the English Cemetery

Last Thursday, some students from 2º Bachillerato B and C had the opportunity to visit Málaga's English Cemetery. Thanks to Rosella, our guide, we learnt a lot about its history and the people buried there, like Robert Boyd, Gerald Brenan or Jorge Guillén. It is a place worth to visit.

You can see us in front of St George's Anglican Church.

2013 HALLOWEEN

It's Halloween again, and students at Martiricos are eager to try their creepy recipes in class.

I couldn't make up my mind to choose just some of them because they were all awesome, so I ended up bringing them all here for you to enjoy.

Happy Halloween from 3º ESO C and 1º ESO B students!
